"My sound is a euphoric blend of hard-hitting 808s coupled with melodic rapping. I began rapping during the start of the mainstream trap trend in hip-ho, although my influences span from Biggie Smalls to Kendrick Lamar to Gucci Mane. Having grown up influenced by the US, I take inspiration from there and merge it with the grit of grime and UK Hip Hop. My tracks often feel anthem-like, and I get a lot of this style from my country of origin. I am Congo raised, Glasgow made, but I'm repping both. I'm aware of my roots and utilise my music to break down my journey so far."
PAQUE has performed all across Scotland from Glasgow to Stirling to Edinburgh, opening for a number of big UK Hip Hop/Rap acts (67, AJ Tracey, Not3s..) as well as American heavyweights such as A$AP Nast, The Game, Desiigner and Hopsin. He has also curated his own launch parties and shows, from his EP, #MUSE, in 2016 to headlining his own shows at King Tuts and supporting festivals in 2018-2019. Paque recently released his debut album, VS - Which is available to stream and download online.
